Development Intern

Reports to: Development Director

Agency Description: Bolder Options is a transformational mentoring program for at-promise youth ages 10-14 in the Twin Cities and Rochester. Mentor pairs meet every week for at least one year working towards physical health, academic success, and social/emotional health goals. Last year, 100% of graduating pairs elected to continue their relationship post-graduation, and 90% of youth planned to go to college after high school. Our goal is to ensure that the promise of youth in our community is realized, regardless of their life circumstances.


Major Responsibilities: The Development Intern assists fundraising staff with entering donations in the donor database, making sure they are categorized correctly, and ensuring acknowledgement letters are promptly sent. Interns attend staff meetings and occasionally events, and generally help with other fundraising activities, as needed.


- High School diploma

- Interest in nonprofit sector and/or youth development

- Detail orientated, organized

Compensation/Work Schedule: Entry Level Position, $15/hour, 10-15 hours/week with very flexible hours and ability to work remotely.
