Samantha Heaton is an attorney at Winthrop & Weinstine. P.A., Trusts & Estate Group, practicing in the firm’s Estate Planning group.  She focuses on preparing comprehensive estate and gift plans that are implemented through wills, trust agreements and related documents. Samantha represents high-net worth individuals in charitable gift planning, tax planning, and probate and trust administration. She also works with private foundations and other nonprofit organizations in entity formation, obtaining tax-exempt status, and various governance and compliance matters.

Samantha is passionate about pro bono legal work, and donates her time to various guardianship, nonprofit and probate matters.

Samantha is a Harvard Law graduate and holds a masters in theology from Emory University and a B.A. from St. Olaf College in religion.  She lives in Minnetonka with her husband, William and one son.
