Mentors for Tomorrow
Legacy Society
Your Legacy of Mentorship
Some gifts last forever. When you include Bolder Options in your estate plans, you ensure that young people will have mentors who believe in them—not just today, but for generations to come.
Planned giving allows you to make a transformational gift that costs nothing today while
providing you with flexibility, potential tax benefits, and the deep satisfaction of knowing your values will live on through the lives of young people transformed by mentoring.
It's Simple
Adding Bolder Options to your will or trust is straightforward. Many people complete this

Ways to Leave Your Legacy
Bequest in Your Will or Trust
The most common and flexible way to support Bolder Options is through a bequest in your will or living trust. You can designate a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder after other bequests are fulfilled. Sample bequest language: I give and devise to Bolder Options (Tax ID #41-1909408), located in Minneapolis, MN, ($X/X%/residue) of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, to be used for its general support (or for the support of a specific fund or program).
Beneficiary Designation
Simply name Bolder Options as a beneficiary of your retirement account (IRA, 401(k)), life insurance policy, or bank account. This can often be done with a single form and can provide significant tax advantages, especially for retirement assets.
IRA Charitable Rollover
If you're 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free gift directly from your IRA to Bolder Options. This satisfies your required minimum distribution without increasing your taxable income.
Other Planned Gifts
Additional options include charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and gifts of
appreciated assets. We're happy to discuss which approach might work best for your situation.
